DESCRIPTION:Location: University of Pennsylvania\, in the Irvine Auditorium and classrooms of Bodek Lounge at 34th St. and Spruce St. \nDescription: Heights’ Equity Summit serves as an opportunity to bridge the experiences of equity-focused practitioners and local Philadelphia students for a day of learning and connecting. Both students and professionals from diverse backgrounds are invited to convene on Penn’s campus to celebrate the wins in our city’s quest to achieve racial and social equity. Participants will also explore and take away best practices that can readily be applied to issues of equity emerging in their home and school communities. \nAudience: Open to all students in the district\, as well as our students in the Legacy and Academy programs. Registration will be required; invitees will be contacted to sign-up in advance of the event.
