The seven action steps to take this summer:
  Learn about different types of colleges.
  Register and study for the SAT and/or ACT.
  Determine what colleges might be a good “fit” for you.
  Plan for upcoming college visits.
  Familiarize yourself with the application process and  
     college admissions options.
  Draft your application essays.
  Understand financial aid, gather financial documents  
     (such as 1040 tax forms, W-2 forms, etc.), and  
     research scholarships.
