First, their institutional aid is incredible. I was so surprisedthat for a school of such academic caliber, they offered me the best financial aid package. Second, I like that Lafayette is in a quiet town;city life just isnt for me. Lafayette is only two hours away from Philly, which is a distance Im comfortable with. Next, I liked that it was asmaller college known for combining liberal arts and engineering;Ill be getting my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Lafayette doesn't have any graduate students, so I felt confident that professors would give me the time I needed. Plus, class sizes are small, When I stayed for an which is important for me; I did not want to be sitting among 100+ studentsovernight visit, I knew in a lecture hall. Lastly, when I stayed for an overnight visit, I knewLafayette felt like home. This allows me to be able to graduate college debt-free and takes the burdenof having to pay for college off of me and my family.
