Heights isn’t about who fits in — it’s about who benefits. We work to give every Black, Brown, and first-gen student more opportunity to succeed in the classroom, at college, and every day in their careers.
We welcome families to enroll their middle- and high-school age youth, and we work with teachers and school staff who want to nominate students they know. Our programs help students engage better with academics and understand their unique pathways to success.

REFER A STUDENT
If you’re a teacher, guidance counselor, or other school staff — or if you have a friend whose child could be a good fit for Heights programs — you can refer a student.
When you apply to Heights, we start the process to find out if your student is a good match for our programs.
If you attend one of our partner schools, please be sure to reach out to our Heights staff member onsite to discuss program opportunities. If you are new to the organization, complete the online form to begin the application process.

Review
Our team reviews your application alongside our program offerings to determine what programs the student qualifies for. -

Decision
Our coordinators let you know via email if there is program availability and what the next steps look like. Some programs require additional enrollment steps. -

Connection
The coordinator connects the accepted student with a program contact to provide additional details about the program and how to get started.
